Movie clubs are groups of people who share an interest in a particular movie, moviemaker neighborhood, genre, etc.
What types of movies are listed
Movie Meetinghouse defines movies as any moving pictures of any length, style, or genre including documentaries, animated films, series films, and countless other possibilities.
While MMh makes no creative decisions or editorial choices on what movies are listed, we aim to present movies that posses some level of artistic merit. We ask that movies fulfill one of the following requirements to be listed on the site:
- A movie has been accepted at a festival
- Any movie made by a professional moviemaker (i.e. a member of the Writers Guild, The Directors Guild, the Screen Actors Guild or moviemakers who are accepted as a professional in another organization recognized in the US or worldwide).
- Any movie supported by 10% of MMh presenters.
NOTE: Movie Meetinghouse will not list X-rated movies on the site. Movies with extreme content must petition for an exemption.

I wish there would also be
I wish there would also be some comedy list included. The comedy spun via the action packed motion picture MacGyver is in the theaters. McGruber is finally hitting the big screen. The trailers have been completely out since Super Bowl, and commercials have been running many times throughout the day. Critics didn't give it high or low ratings, but followers appeared to enjoy it. A critic usually has less than good stuff to say anyway. The best comedy is dumb comedy, and that is what this movie is likely to have plenty of. It's the sort of film you watch simply because of how dumb it looks; an excellent movie to laugh at. I haven't seen it yet, however, you can bet I will.
